It is with great sadness that we learnt composer and instrumentalist Colin Tully passed away on 23 June 2021 at the age of 66 .
Colin first met John whilst playing in the street in Glasgow at the tender age of four, little did he know that thirty years later he would be playing in John’s band!
Colin was a member of rock band Cado Belle in the 70s and subsequently gained widespread recognition for composing the music to the Bill Forsyth written and directed film Gregory’s Girl. Colin was an exceptional musician and contrubuted to many of John’s albums including Sapphire, Piece By Piece, Foundations, The Apprentice and also toured extensively with John.
