JOHN MARTYN becomes the first artist to release a Compact Disc single early next month, when Island issue his ‘Angeline’ to coincide with the opening of his UK tour. It’s taken from his forthcoming album ‘Piece By Piece’ (due late February), and the CD also features three Martyn classics – ‘May You Never’, ‘Solid Air’ and ‘Glistening Glyndebourne’ – together with Dylan’s ‘Tight Connection To My Heart.’
