Longstanding visitors to this website will be more than familiar with the music of Dan Arborise.
In 2007 Dan was the official support for John’s performance of Solid Air at the Celtic Connections Festival and his debut album, Around in Circles, quickly became a favourite.
Dan’s superb second album, Of Tide and Trail, was released in August 2009, and we took the unusual step of promoting its release right here; “It’s not often that we recommend another artist, in fact we’ve never done it before! There’s a first time for everything and Dan Arborise is an artist well worth a listen. Inspired guitar work, heartfelt lyrics and beautiful vocals abound on his debut album Around In Circles and 2009s Of Tide and Trail.”
Of Tide And Trail is now available on vinyl for the first time courtesy of Dan and Unspun Heroes. It’s a thing of beauty! A 2LP album housed in a gatefold sleeve. Pressed on hand-poured, marbled translucent turquoise, yellow and natural vinyl. It comes with the full lyrics alongside Dan’s extensive song notes.
